My Story:
Success has taught me many lessons, but failure taught me who I truly am.
Early in my career, I became a successful mortgage broker and built what I believed was the American dream. My family lived on five acres, owned several rental properties, horses, boats, and cars, and enjoyed wonderful vacations together. From the outside, it looked like we had everything.
Looking back, however, I realize I was driven more by success than by service. My focus was often on achieving more instead of appreciating what I already had.
When the 2007–2008 financial crisis hit, everything changed. My business collapsed, my income disappeared, and we lost nearly everything. Our home went into foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditors called constantly, and my family struggled just to put food on the table. My wife worked whatever jobs she could find, and I took any work available. One of my most painful memories is watching my five-year-old daughter place cardboard inside her shoes because we couldn't afford new ones.
That season of hardship changed my life forever.
During those difficult days, I turned my life over to Higher Power and began focusing less on myself and more on serving others. I learned that gratitude and helping others brings far more happiness than possessions ever could. Losing my pride and ego ultimately became the greatest gift I never wanted.
In 2011, with nothing left, I started selling Real Estate and began rebuilding my life from the ground up. This time, success was measured differently—not by what I owned, but by the people I could help.
Today, I have the privilege of helping buyers, sellers, investors, and families navigate some of the most important decisions of their lives. I understand the excitement, uncertainty, and stress that accompany every real estate transaction because I've experienced life's highest highs and lowest lows.
My promise is simple: I will treat your goals as if they were my own. I will work tirelessly, communicate honestly, and always put your best interests first.
The greatest blessings in my life are my faith, my family, and the opportunity to serve others. Those experiences shaped the man I am today, and I strive every day to become a better husband, father, person and Realtor.
